Description:

Movement and music group for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers (ages 0-5). All classes are CAA Accredited and have the 3 Gold Kite Mark from ICAP. Teachers all DBS checked. Finalists in the national What's on 4 Kids Awards every year since 2019.

Weekly themes teach language, motor and social skills, co-operation and communication using action rhymes, songs, poems and stories. Parents - as well as children - at our classes are encouraged to join in to ensure that everyone gets the most from classes. Our themes are rotated weekly so that there is some variety for parents. However, there is also lots of repetition at classes, as pre-school children, toddlers and babies learn best with this approach and when they know what to expect, so classes usually start and finish at every session with the same activities.

Twistin Tots classes are lively affairs with mixed ages covering 0 – 5. Sessions include nursery rhymes, songs, action rhymes and a variety of exciting, educational and stimulating props. Our classes are fun, energetic and developmental.

We use lots of props at classes - from instruments and parachutes to disco lights and bubbles -to ensure that your child (and you) have a great time and can’t wait until next week to come back again! We run ‘General’ sessions where we cover many class favourites, such as Funky Monkey, The Tractor Song and Row the Boat. In addition, we also run themed sessions where the songs and props for that particular week cover a certain theme. We have many themes - ranging from Dinosaurs and Desert Island, to On the Farm, Jungle and Space (and many more!). Each one teaches your child about a new thing, or place and has different props and music.

All of our activities have specific Learning Outcomes to help your child’s development, but because our activities are so engaging, your child will be so busy having fun that they won’t know they are learning too!

Pricing:

Introductory Offer for new customers - book 4 classes (consecutive weeks) for £20. Otherwise, book Term, £5.50 per class; book block of 6 (consecutive) weeks, £39; book block of 4 (consecutive) weeks; book single week £7. Prices apply to one child £1 extra for additional children / siblings.

Times:

Mondays, term-time only, 9.45-11.20 - Stay and Play session. 50 mins of musical fun using parachutes, instruments, dress ups, bubbles and other innovative props, followed by a play session with toys and ride-ons.
